NDB Headquarters are located on 401, Xueye Road, Pudong New District, Shanghai (上海市浦东新区雪野路401号).
Taxi or Didi (China’s version of Uber) is always the easiest solution. Taxis normally bear clear symbol with the word “TAXI” on it, and can be hailed on the way, or, if you begin your tour from a hotel, the concierge will be able to get one for you. Didi cars typically look just like a normal car, and has to be booked through the APP (Didi).
You can also use the metro, as Shanghai has a very extensive and user-friendly metro network. The stops closest (less than 10-minute walk) to NDB Headquarters are China Art Museum Station (中华艺术宫站) for line 8, or Yuntai Lu Station (云台路站) for line 7.
The 8th Annual Meeting will take place in the Multi-Functional Hall on the 5th floor of the Podium of the NDB Headquarters complex. Please follow signs once you enter.
Working Language and Interpretation
Meetings will be conducted in English.
Simultaneous interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, English, Portuguese and Russian will be available on the first day, and interpretation in Chinese, English, Portuguese for the second day.
Lunches
Complimentary buffet lunches will be served at the Staff Canteen (third floor of the Podium) on May 30-31 for all participants. You may expect long queues, so it's advisable to spread out.
Prayer rooms
Two prayer rooms, with a clear sign on the door, are located on the fourth floor of the podium under numbers 7 & 16.
A Registration/Information Desk is located at the entrance to the HQ complex for badge collection and meeting-related enquiries.
Passport/Chinese ID should be presented to registration desk for badge collection.
